Seis semanas después del lanzamiento físico de su último proyecto “Lordiversity” y sólo tres semanas desde su último single “Demon Supreme”, Lordi está ahora de regreso con otro single, vía AFM Records, en un estilo diferente, se podría decir.
El nuevo single, llamado “Day Off Of The Devil” encuentra sus influencias en el Hard Rock de los 70. Con las raíces que se encuentran en las primeras obras de leyendas como KISS y Alice Cooper, Lordi no simplemente se reproduce, sino que lo toma y lo hace suyo, por no decir lo mínimo con la voz única que distingue a esta banda del resto.
Y si eso no fuera suficiente, también lanzarán otro álbum de “Lordiversity” digitalmente, titulado “Humanimals”. Ambientado en 1989, el álbum nos lleva atrás en el tiempo a una época que estaba dominada por una mentalidad de cuanto más grande es el cabello, mejor y cuanto más grandes son los coros, mejor. Este álbum inspirado en AOR / hair metal definitivamente.
